Subsequently, the captured compounds are rapidly heated and desorbed so that they can be detected by analytical instruments such as gas chromatography (GC) or gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS). The fully automatic system can realize the automation of the entire process from sample loading, purging, trapping to desorption, providing higher processing efficiency and reproducibility while reducing human intervention. It is widely used in trace organic matter analysis in environmental monitoring, food safety, and chemical industry.
