Embedded Tubed Cold Plates are heat dissipation components formed by inserting metal pipes such as copper tubes and stainless steel tubes into metal substrate (such as aluminum alloy). The core design is to efficiently export heat generated by heat sources through the coolant flowing in the pipe (such as water or antifreeze) in contact with the substrate. The manufacturing process of these cold plates includes welding, bonding or die casting, where the tight fit of the copper tube to the substrate reduces the contact thermal resistance and improves the heat transfer efficiency. Compared with traditional welded cold plates, the tube design reduces the welding process and leakage risk, and has higher voltage resistance (up to more than 2MPa), which is suitable for scenarios requiring heat uniformity, lightweight and cost control, such as thermal management of power batteries, industrial equipment and electronic components.
