CW DFB laser chip is a continuous wave (CW) semiconductor laser based on distributed feedback (DFB) technology. It realizes single longitudinal mode output by integrating Bragg grating inside the chip. It has extremely narrow linewidth (≤1MHz), high side mode suppression ratio (SMSR≥40dB) and excellent frequency stability (temperature drift <0.8Å/℃). It is widely used in high-speed fiber optic communications (such as 5G base stations, data center optical modules), lidar, medical equipment (such as laser surgery, photodynamic therapy) and gas detection. Its core advantage is that it can still maintain stable output in high temperature environment (Shijia Photonics and other companies have achieved wide temperature range reliability from -40℃ to +85℃), and supports high-speed data transmission of more than 100Gbps (1.55μm band). The current technology iteration direction focuses on ultra-low chirp (<0.1nm), multi-wavelength integration and quantum light source chip development, promoting its penetration in emerging scenarios such as AI computing centers and new energy vehicle lidar.
