Disintegrating hydraulic fracturing ball is a temporary isolation tool used in oil and gas hydraulic fracturing operations. It is usually made of soluble metals, polymers or composite materials. After completing the predetermined isolation and diversion functions, it can automatically disintegrate, dissolve or degrade in a specific downhole environment (such as temperature, pressure or liquid composition), avoiding the problem of wellbore blockage or operation complications caused by the inability to recover traditional frac balls. They are pumped into the wellbore as a segmented control tool, and selectively fracturing the target layer segment is achieved through seat sealing. They then disappear on their own within a specified time, reducing operation steps, improving operation efficiency and reducing completion risks. Its material and disintegration characteristics can be precisely customized according to downhole working conditions, and it is one of the key consumables in modern efficient and intelligent completion technology.
