The 3D ToF Sensor for Robots is a spatial perception device specifically designed for robot systems. Based on the Time of Flight (ToF) principle, it emits modulated light signals of a specific wavelength towards the target scene and accurately measures the time taken for the light signals to travel from emission to reflection back to the sensor by objects in the scene, thereby calculating the distance information between the objects and the sensor. The sensor can rapidly acquire three-dimensional depth data of the target scene and construct a high-precision three-dimensional point cloud model, providing the robot with crucial information about the spatial structure and object position distribution in the surrounding environment. With its high real-time performance, high accuracy, and adaptability to complex environments, it enables robots to achieve various functions such as precise navigation, target recognition, obstacle avoidance, and human-robot interaction, and holds significant application value in fields like industrial automation and service robotics.
