To add value to their services and differentiate themselves from other competitors, automotive OEMs and service partners will increase spending on data management/analysis software, on IT-infrastructure-related software to support the increase in data types and volumes, on cognitive/AI systems in order to generate useful insights, and also on security software," says Ko Shikita, research manager, Communications, IDC Japan.
