During processing, the masterbatch is blended with base polymers such as polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), polystyrene (PS), ABS, PVC, or engineering plastics through extrusion, injection molding, or blow molding. The conductive particles form a continuous conductive network inside the polymer matrix, reducing surface and volume resistivity and preventing electrostatic charge accumulation. In some formulations, it can also provide electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding. Conductive masterbatch for plastics is widely used in anti-static packaging, electronic housings, automotive fuel system components, cable sheathing, industrial containers, and explosion-proof products.
