Ceramic capacitive pressure sensors are corrosion resistant, shock resistant and highly resilient and can come into direct contact with most media. In addition, the high thermal stability of ceramics allows for an operating temperature range of -40°C to 150°C and can therefore be used in a wide range of applications such as automotive and industrial process control. Ceramic capacitive pressure sensors have no liquid transfer during operation, the process pressure acts directly on the ceramic diaphragm and the capacitance change between the base and diaphragm electrodes is proportional to the pressure. When overloaded, the diaphragm is in contact with the base without damage, which can effectively replace the diffusion silicon pressure sensor and completely solve the problem of poor overload capacity at low ranges.
