Description
This report forecasts to 2029 US labels demand in square meters. Total demand is segmented by product in terms of: pressure sensitive, glue-applied, heat shrink and stretch, and other products such as in-mold labels, heat transfer labels, and wraparound labels. Total demand is also segmented by market as follows: primary packaging; secondary packaging; industrial; mailing and shipping; and consumer, commercial, and institutional.
To illustrate historical trends, total demand is provided in annual series from 2019 to 2024; the various segments are reported at five-year intervals for 2019 and 2024.
Excluded from coverage in this report are: adhesive notes (e.g., 3M’s Post-it notes); adhesive-backed envelopes; cloth and woven labels (e.g., garment labels); decorative pressure sensitive tapes; graphic films; electronic article surveillance (EAS) tags (although the labels used in conjunction with EAS tags are covered); label/form combinations; labels printed directly onto containers without the use of an intervening substrate; postage stamps (however, blank labels for postage meters and online purchases of postage are included); rigid metal labels; tags; and unprinted shrink neckbands.
