The DC SEPIC switching regulator is a commonly used DC-DC switching regulator, which can convert a low-voltage DC power supply into a high-voltage DC power supply, and the output voltage is stable. SEPIC is the abbreviation of Single-Ended Primary Inductor Converter, also known as ""Buck-type"" (buck-boost) boost converter. Compared with traditional Boost converters, SEPIC can handle a wider input voltage range, and the output voltage can be lower than, higher than or equal to the input voltage. The basic circuit of a DC SEPIC switching regulator consists of an inductor, a capacitor, and a switch tube. The principle is to make the inductor store and release energy by continuously switching the switching tube, so that the input voltage becomes a square wave voltage, and then converted into a stable output voltage through filtering and voltage stabilizing circuits. DC SEPIC switching regulators are suitable for applications where the input voltage range varies greatly, such as battery-powered systems, automotive electronics, and industrial controls. It has the advantages of reverse input and output current, stable output voltage and high efficiency.
