Report Overview The AC balanced bridge consists of four arms, each of which can be a resistor, capacitor or inductor. When the bridge reaches a balanced state, the current detected by the galvanometer (or the electronic detection circuit in the modern bridge) is zero, which means that the difference in voltage between the two arms is zero.
