The US architectural and structural metals manufacturing industry consists of about 12,000 companies with combined annual revenue of about $70 billion and is expected to experience moderate growth over the next two years. Key growth drivers include nonresidential construction rates and the increasing popularity of prefabricated metal buildings. COMPETITIVE LANDSCAPE Demand depends primarily on the level of construction activity, particularly nonresidential.
