The WestStone Group (WSG) is planning to build a mixed-use complex in Surrey, Canada.
The project involves the construction of a 51,654m2 mixed-use complex comprising three buildings on 2ha of land. It includes the construction of two, 20,438m2 six-story buildings with 202 senior independent living units, a medical research center and offices, a commercial space, a retail space, parking and related facilities.
The two, six-story buildings will be built on western parcel of the site and the 12-story 31,158m2 mixed-use medical building with 220 complex care and assisted-living units on the east parcel adjacent to King George Boulevard.
WSG acquired the proposed site located adjacent to Surrey Memorial Hospital in 2014. In April 2015, WSG submitted a development permit application to Surrey City Council.
In May 2016, WSG is in the process of seeking investors to develop the project.
In Q4 2016, The project received preliminary approval by Surrey City Council.
