Weidner Holdings (WHS), a consortium of Steelman Partners (Steelman), Cantor Fitzgerald (CFD), Weidner Resorts (Weidner) and Imex Pan Pacific Co., Ltd. (IPP) is planning to build a commercial complex in Thu Thiem, District 2, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

The project involves the construction of a commercial complex on 11ha of land. It includes the construction of a 70-storey tower, office building, a shopping mall, meeting rooms, conference facilities, parking and related facilities.

In May 2016, WHS unveiled the project plans in a meeting with the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee.

In August 2016, the Ho Chi Minh City government turned down the proposed changes to the zoning plan in Thu Thiem.

Subject to approval, construction is expected to be completed in three years.
