The project also involves the construction of the 1,580m2 ground floor retail facility and parking spaces, and installation of elevators and safety systems.
KTGY Architecture + Planning has been appointed as architect.
In September 2016, a public hearing was held.
The Fairfax County Planning Commission recommended for approval for the proposed plans in October 2016.
In December 2016, project secured approvals from the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors.
