Vectren Corporation (VC) is undertaking the upgrade of the gas pipeline in Indiana, the US.
The project involves laying of a 1,769km gas pipeline covering much of central Indiana and upgrade the 482km pipeline along Southwest Indiana. It includes the construction of storage facilities, pumping stations, compressor stations and related infrastructure, the installation of control stations, and the laying of pipelines.
In November 2013, VC submitted a planning application to the Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission for approval.
Construction activities are underway and the project is expected to be completed by 2021.
