The University of Southern California (USC) is planning to undertake the renovation of the Memorial Coliseum in Los Angeles, Southern California, the US.
The project involves the renovation of the stadium, replacing every seat, which would reduce the seats from 93,607 to 77,500.
It includes the construction of suites, loge boxes and club seats, a new concourse and press box, the installation of new lighting, a new field, handrails, adding aisles; the widening of seats and increasing leg room, and the upgrade of audio and video, including the addition of two large screens on the east end of the stadium.
In April 2017, USC unveiled the seating plan. As of April 2017, USC raised US$225 million.
Subject to the approvals in 2017, construction is expected to commence in 2018 and will be completed by 2019.
