United Parcel Service, Inc (UPS) is planning to build a distribution center in Round Rock, Texas.
The project involves the construction of a 20,903m2 distribution center on 20.2ha of land. It includes the construction of a warehouse, storage units, distribution units, loading and unloading facilities, an administrative facility, parking and related facilities.
The project will receive US$2.1 million in property tax rebates from the City of Round Rock during the first eight years of its operation.
On May 12, 2016, The City Council of Round Rock voted on an incentive agreement with UPS and approved the project.
Construction is expected to be completed by the end of 2018.
