The project involves the construction of a power plant with generating capacity of 1200MW, developed in two units of 600MW each, substations, powerhouses, and the installation of turbines, a waste heat boiler, an 80m high chimney, electro-mechanical equipment, wet coolers, generators and transformers, and the laying of 3.1km pipeline and transmission lines.
Drees & Sommer AG has been appointed as project management and consulting contracts for the project.
Kling Consult GmbH has been appointed as a planner.
In October 2014, Kling Consult GmbH presented planning for the project.
SWU Netze GmbH signed an agreement with Siemens AG to develop the project.
The construction work is scheduled to commence in 2019.
