The project involves the construction of solid waste incineration power plant with a waste disposal capacity of 600 tonnes per day.
It includes the construction of storage tanks, incinerator and related facilities, the installation of turbines, boilers and transformers, and the laying of transmission lines.
On July 11, 2015, China Western Power Industrial Co Ltd (CWPC) was awarded Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contract.
Planning activities are underway and the construction is yet to commence and scheduled to be implemented in between 2017 to 2019.
