Ralan Paradise Group (RPG) is undertaking the construction of a mixed-use complex in Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia.
The project involves the construction of a mixed-use complex comprising four towers with 1,600 apartments on 2.49ha of land. It will be developed in four stages.
The first stage includes the construction of a 32-story tower with 228 apartments.
The second stage includes the construction of a 60-story tower with 477 apartments and 1,760m2 of the restaurant and retail space.
The third stage includes the construction of a 47-story tower with 489 apartments, 2,543m2 of shopping precinct and a podium playground.
The fourth stage includes the construction of a 32-story tower with 406 apartments and 358m2 of retail and pedestrian connections.
The project includes the construction of an entertainment center, restaurants, boutique bars, cafes, retail stores, and 1,607 parking spaces for three stages and the installation of elevators, safety and security systems.
DBI Design Pty Ltd and Hyder Consulting Plc were appointed as the design consultants, Urban Planning Services Pty Ltd as the planner and J Hutchinson Pty Ltd as the contractor.
In 2012, the project received preliminary approval for four towers.
In March 2015, RPG acquired the 2.49ha of land for US$72 million for the development of the project.
On July 22, 2015, RPG secured approval for first two stages from the Gold Coast City Council.
On November 25, 2015, RPG commenced construction on the first stage.
Hitec Glazing was appointed as the glazing contractor and Feenix Balustrades as the balustrade contractor.
Construction work is underway and the first stage is slated to be completed by mid of 2018 and on the entire project by 2021.
