The Rize Alliance Properties Ltd (RAPL) is undertaking the construction of a mixed-use complex in British Columbia, Canada.
The project involves the construction of a mixed-use complex. It includes the construction of three residential buildings comprising a five-story, a nine-story and a 21-story with 258 units; two levels of commercial space; three levels of underground parking with a parking space for 399 vehicles, a retail facility and other related facilities; and the installation of safety systems and elevators.
The residential units as a part of the complex will be built at three corners of the site with apartments measuring different areas.
In 2011, RAPL submitted its site zoning change proposals to move forward with the development.
On October 23, 2013, City council approved the Mount Pleasant Community Plan Implementation Package.
In July 2014, RAPL secured unanimous City of Vancouver Development Permit Board approval for the project.
On November 25, 2014, City of Vancouver granted final rezoning approval for RAPL to develop the project.
Acton Ostry Architects has been appointed as the architect, False Creek Design Group as interior designer, PWL Partnership as landscape architect, Integral Group as mechanical engineer, Nemetz (S/A) & Associates Ltd. as electrical engineer, Read Jones Christoffersen Consulting Engineers as structural engineer and Rennie Marketing Systems as marketing consultant for the project.
The in-house division of RAPL is undertaking the construction works.
In July 2015, construction works commenced.
Construction activities are underway and scheduled to be completed by the fourth quarter of 2017.
