On June 29, 2015, authority extended the project declaration to 31 March 2016.
On July 28, 2015, revised draft EIS requested by Authority.
On December 18, 2015, authority extended the project declaration from March 31, 2016, to June 30, 2017.
In June 2016, Flanagan Consulting Group (FCG) has been appointed as a consultant to work with Ports North to deliver the next stage of the project.
On December 20, 2016, Coordinator-General extended the project declaration lapse date from June 30, 2017, to December 31, 2017.
On December 22, 2017, Coordinator-General accepted the revised draft EIS as the final EIS.
As of February 2018, Coordinator-General is in process of finalizing the EIS evaluation report and expected to be completed by the first quarter of 2018.
