The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) is undertaking the upgrade of a road from Rishikesh to Dharasu in Uttarakhand, India.
The project involves the upgrade of a 144km Rishikesh-Dharasu road. It includes the construction of a 430m tunnel near Chamba, culverts, viaducts, bridges, bypasses and related infrastructure, and the installation of signaling and safety systems.
On December 27, 2016, a foundation stone was laid.
As of February 2017, construction works are underway and is scheduled to be complete by 2018.
