Metro Santiago SA (MSA) plans to undertake the construction of Santiago Metro Line 7 project in Santiago, Santiago Province, Chile.
The project involves the construction of a 24.8km metro system between Vitacura and Renca, stations, tunnels and related facilities, the installation of the signaling system, safety and security systems and related equipment, and the laying of rail tracks.
The final route is decided. The Line 7 will run between the Brasil station in Renca commune and Estoril station in Vitacura. The new route will connect seven communes of the Metropolitan Region: Renca, Cerro Navia, Quinta Normal, Santiago, Providencia, Las Condes and Vitacura.
In June 2017, study work is completed.
