KiPower, a subsidiary of Kuyasa Mining, is planning to construct a coal-fired power plant in Delmas, Mpumalanga, South Africa.

In May 2014, public consultation process for final environmental impact report has been initiated.
On October 10, 2014, Department of Environmental Affairs (DEA) granted KiPower an Environmental Authorisation (EA) for the construction of pipelines and pump stations to supply water to the proposed project.
In January 2015, public review period for the integrated water use licence application extended up to Mach 24, 2015.
On March 20, 2015, DEA has requested for additional information to the final environmental-impact assessment (EIA) report to KiPower.
On May 13, 2015, KiPower submitted the final EIA report with all requested additional information.
