King's College London (KCL) is planning to construct the redevelopment of strand campus in Westminster, London, England, the UK.
The project involves the construction of teaching and student facilities on a 3,700m2 area.
It includes the renovation of the two floors of the underground Quad building and re-landscaping the current car parking facility, new entrance and reception areas from the Strand, modernizing the Arthur & Paula Lucas Lecture Theater, upgrading access and the entrance areas, a coffee shop and related facilities.
KCL has invited an expression of interests for the design services contract for Quadrangle and its associated buildings at the Strand Campus through the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) in April 2012.
In October 2012, Hall McKnight was appointed as an architect for the project.
As of November 2015, the plans for the project were withdrawn by KCL and reviewing the planning options for the project.
Burrell Foley Fischer is appointed as architect for the new plans of the project.
