1831 Wiehle LLC, an affiliate of The JBG Companies (JBG), EYA Development (EYA) and Chevy Chase Land Company (CCLC) are planning to build a mixed-use community in Reston, Fairfax County, Virginia, the US.
The project involves the construction of a 156,078m2 mixed-use community on 7ha of land. It includes the construction of 111,484m2 of residential space for 1,300 to 1,500 residents, a 21,368m2, 11-story office building, 24,242m2 of retail space, parking and related facilities.
The development near Wiehle-Reston East Metro station includes a multi-family building for independent senior living along Sunset Hills Road, two five-story multi-family buildings and an 11-story office building at Wiehle Avenue and the Dulles Toll Road.
On the East side of the development includes an 840-unit multifamily building, 130 condominium flats and three-story condominium townhouses above retail stores, a neighborhood of 60 more traditional townhomes, and the development of five parks.
Cooley LLP has been appointed as legal advisor and LandDesign and Studios Architecture as architects.
In November 2016, JBG, EYA and CCLC filed the project plans with the Fairfax County Planning Commission.
