Mauriello Planning Group has been appointed as the planning consultant, Wright Heerema Architects as an architect, MacDesign as the landscape architect, Alpine Engineering as the civil engineer and McDowell Engineering as traffic consultant.

Marriott International, Inc. has been appointed as management contractor and it will operate under its Residence Inn brand.

In August 2016, Mauriello Planning Group, on behalf of HGI submitted an application to Vail Town Council (VTC).

In January 2017, the VTC rejected the proposed plan.

In February 2017, VTC approved an ordinance creating a special development district for the project.

Subject to final approval from the Vail Design Review Board and development agreement, construction is expected to commence by the end of 2017.
