Jianxi Zhongmei Engineering Group, Ltd, China Henan International Cooperation Group Co., Ltd. (CHICO), Mota-Engil and SBI International Holdings have been awarded the construction contract.
In April 2017, Grupo Quadrante, a company that provides Engineering and Consulting services worldwide, in partnership with Mota-Engil, Engenharia e Construção África, SA, acquired the rehabilitation sub contract of the R890 Guijá / Chókwè and R448 Chókwè roads / Macarretane from Mota-Engil.
The government is in the process of mobilizing funds to start the works.
