In June 2013, Spark Architects was appointed as architect.

In May 2016, an amended planning application was submitted to Wollongong City Council.
In November 2016, Wollongong City Council planning staff recommended the project approval.
Construction is expected to begin by the end of 2017 with completion slated for November 2019.
