Summary

Gordon Group Holdings, LLC (GGH) and Highland Park Village Associates (HPVA) are jointly planning to undertake the Haven mixed-use project in West Haven, Connecticut, the US.

The project involves the construction of mixed-use facilities with 32,314m2 area to be developed in two phases.

The first phase involves the demolition of acquired properties, 2,000 parking spaces, 65 outlet stores and removing Water Street itself. The second phase includes the construction of a hotel, apartments, a shopping center comprising 35 outlet stores and seven restaurants and related facilities.

Studio V Architecture has been appointed as architect and prepared preliminary plans.

The project will be funded by the Economic Development Administration and in August 2014, GGH and HPVA secured US$2 million Brownfield grant from the State Government. This funding is a part of $8.7 million funding that will help 16 municipalities assess and clean up blighted properties to attract new development in the state.
