Fujian Shai Corp (FSC), a subsidiary of Fujian Holdings Ltd is planning to construct a Fishing Port Complex in Porto de Alto Bandim, Prábis, Guinée-Bissau.
The project involves the construction of a port for the unloading of catches, a five-star hotel, floating bridge, a water tank with a capacity of 1,000 cubic meters, paving and construction of drainage ditches, and the renovation of the road linking the capital Bissau to the town of Prabis.
In July 2017, the government of Guinea-Bissau signed a donation agreement of US$26 million with China to develop the project.
The developers are in the process of raising funds to implement the project.
