Expedient Data Centers (EDC) is planning to undertake the construction of a data center in Ohio, the US.
The project involves the construction of a 5,574m2 data center. The project includes the construction of server rooms, an office space, an administrative space, parking space and related facilities. The project will be executed in phases.
The US$22 million first phase will include the construction of a 1,393m2 data center of 36 raised floor space. The first phase also includes dual power feeds, four 800 kW Liebert UPS systems, 570 tonnes of cooling, four Caterpillar diesel generators with 6MW of total capacity and completely diverse telecom entrances.
Five 9s digital has been appointed as contractor.
Construction works on the first phase has been completed in November 2015.
