Diamond Star Associates (DSA) is planning to redevelop a hotel into a residential tower in Costa Mesa, California, the US.

On October 12, 2015, Costa Mesa City Planning Commission approved the project plans.
In January 2016, the lawsuit has been filed by the neighboring business against the City Planning Commission and DSA.
On May 12, 2017, the Los Angeles County Superior Court rejected the approvals as the project doesn’t comply with state law regarding development of affordable housing.
