The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) plans to construct an expressway in the Philippines.
The project involves the construction of a 180km expressway from Pagbilao, Quezon to San Fernando, Camarines Sur. It includes the construction of construction of roads, interchanges, culverts, bridges, overpasses and related infrastructure, and the installation of signaling system and signboards.
The project is implemented under public-private partnership (PPP) program on Financing and Build-Operate-Transfer scheme (BOT).
DPWH Planning Service - Project Preparation Division is undertaking the feasibility study.
Feasibility study and assessment works are underway, which are expected to complete in the third quarter of 2018.
Tenders for the construction contract is expected to be issued by the fourth quarter of 2018 and detailed engineering design is scheduled to be done by the fourth quarter of 2019. Construction is expected to commence in 2022 and expected to complete by 2026.
