Dover High School (DHS), a part of the Capital School District, is planning to build a school in Dover, Kent County, Delaware, the US.

The project involves the construction of a 28,289m2, three-story educational complex. It includes the construction of 50 classrooms, laboratories, staffrooms, an administrative space, a library, a cafeteria and related facilities, and the upgrade of career and technical education center.

PC Construction Company (PCC) has been appointed as civil engineer.

In October 2014, the Joint Building Committee (JBC) appointed HMFH Architects, Inc. (HMFH) and Crabtree Rohrbaugh Associates + Architects to conduct a needs assessment, site selection and design services for the project.

Subsequently JBC, along with HMFH and PCC, studied three alternatives for the project.

The first option included the complete renovation of the existing school at a cost of US$84 million, the second involved renovating the existing gymnasium and auditorium, demolishing the main building and constructing a two-story school, and the third option involved the present scope.

On June 23, 2015, JBC revealed the cost estimates for the project.

On July 13, 2015, JBC presented recommendations to completely replace the high school with a three-story educational complex.

On July 15, 2015, JBC presented their recommendation to replace the high school and career technical center to the City Council.

On August 26, 2015, the City Council approved the funding plan.
