It includes the construction of 394 residential units, 734m2 of commercial space, a ticket hall and parking facility and the installation of elevators, safety and security systems.
TP Bennett has been appointed as architect and the design was reviewed by Design Council CABE, GVA as planning advisor, and Arup Group Ltd as consulting engineer.
On April 19, 2013, a pre-application meeting was held with Transport for London (TfL) and the Greater London Authority (GLA) for the project plans.
In January 2014, Crossrail submitted a planning application to the Greenwich Council and secured planning consent in September 2014.
Construction works are expected to commence upon completion of the Woolwich station in 2018.
