In December 2015, CoS acquired land for US$2.4 million.
On April 1, 2016, CallisonRTKL appointed as architect, OHM Advisors as master planner and Arcadis as structural engineer.
In August 2016, OHM Advisors completed market study and consultation with interested developers to develop the project.
On August 23, 2016, CoS held a public consultation on the project plans.
In September 2016, Southfield City Council approved the final master plan of the project.
On February 6, 2017, CoS's Planning Department and OHM Advisors discussed the codes and standards for the project implementation.
