City of Kelowna (CoK) is planning to renovate a recreation center in Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada.
The project involves the renovation of a recreation center. CoK is considering four different development options for the project.
The first option includes the renovating the existing complex with very general re-configurations of 4,830m2 of floor area; the second option includes the renovation of a portion of the center and construction of a new functional area; the third involves the construction of a new facility with a smaller space; and the fourth option includes the construction of a 12,667m2 facility with a fitness centre and room for additional aquatic programming.
On August 10, 2015, Kelowna council chambers conducted a meeting to discuss the project plans.
As of December 2015, CoK is recommending the fourth option for the project development.
