The project involves the construction of a 3km elevated park on a 78ha area, which is further divided in seven segments.

The existing buildings within the park will be restored to create arts and cultural spaces, including 1,400m2 of government office space and a 2,900m2 public library.

The project will include the construction of a concerts hall, a new elliptical structure with a wooden facade to contain 1,000-seat auditorium, an exhibitions center, a film screenings facility, a sports facility and parking facility and the installation of safety and security systems.

In August 2012, CoB invited international professionals to design a major transformation of the city central area.

In April 2013, Massimiliano Fuksas Architetto in collaboration with the Catalan architect Jordi Henrich I Monras was appointed as master planner for the project.

The project involves the development of a 3km elevated park on a 78ha area above the current railway station in Bari, Italy.

The US$460 million project includes the following:
