CapitaLand Limited (CapitaLand), a Singapore based real estate company, is undertaking the construction of D1Mension Mixed-Use project in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
The project involves the construction of a mixed-use complex on 0.5ha area. It includes the construction of 17-story, 102-unit luxury residential tower called D1MENSION; and a 22-story serviced apartment block with 200 units to be managed by CapitaLand’s wholly-owned serviced apartment arm, The Ascott, under the Somerset brand.
The project will include the construction of an entrance plaza, Gourmet Lounge, Gourmet Pool & Dining Deck, a library, garden walkway, a swimming pool, children’s playground, and a sky terrace on the residential tower comprising a gym, changing rooms with Sauna & Steam Bath, Party House, Wine & Cigar Lounge, Poolside Bar, Jacuzzi, and Infinity Pool with Glass Bottom. It also includes the construction of a parking space and the installation of elevators, and safety and security systems.
River View Company Limited is acting as a developer; CapitaLand Real Estate Management, a subsidiary of CapitaLand Ltd, as the project manager and Concept Architect; RSP Architects Planners and Engineer as the project architect; HBA Studio as an interior designer; ONG&ONG Pte Ltd as Landscape Architect; Tham & Wong as Civil & Structural Engineer; J. Roger Preston Limited as Mechanical & Electrical Engineer; VinaQS as Quantity Surveyor; and CIDECO as Site Supervision consultant for the project.
Sunray Woodcraft Construction Pte Ltd was appointed as the main contractor for the project.
On September 23, 2016, CapitaLand, through its wholly owned subsidiary, CapitaLand (Vietnam) Holdings, purchased a prime site in District 1 in Ho Chi Minh City for US$51.9 million.
Construction activities are underway and the entire project is expected to complete by mid of 2018.
