Jodan Construction has been appointed enabling contractor and WBHO Construction Pty Ltd as main construction contractor, China Railway International Group Co Ltd as general contractor for the project.

In June 2015, the piling works on the project were commenced.

In January 2016, the construction works on the project were commenced.

In January 2018, construction works are completed.

Planning activities are underway on the remaining phases.
