GD Power Shanxi New Energy Development Co., Ltd a subsidiary of China Guodian Corp (CGC) is planning to undertake the Hongshaba Jiulongwan Wind Farm project at Jiulongwan wind field, Hongshaba, Inner Mongolia, China.
The project involves the construction of an onshore wind farm with a capacity of 49.5MW. The project includes the construction of a substation, access roads, a powerhouse and other infrastructure-related facilities, and the installation of wind turbines, generators, transformers and safety equipment, and the laying of transmission lines.
The proposed wind farm is currently under wind measurement studies. Guodian has erected a measurement tower in Jiulongwan wind site. Data from the tower will be recorded at least for one year for installation of wind turbines.
Feasibility study of the project have been completed and the project is awaiting approval from Wulanchabu Development and Reform Commission.
