Zionsville Plan Commission conducted a meeting to discuss the zoning change on April 18, 2016.

On May 4, 2016, a community consultation meeting was held by the zoning commission, with a due deadline submission to vote on June 20, 2016.

On June 20, 2016, the planning commissions unanimously voted unfavorable recommendations and send the application to the Zionsville Town Council.

The council rejected the plans on July 5, 2016.

In September 2016, the Zionsville Planning Commission reviewed the project plans.

On March 20, 2017, Zionsville Plan Commission rejected plans for the project at the request of the petitioner.
