USB Flash Drives Procurement in the US
This report is intended to assist buyers of removable universal serial bus (USB) drives. USBs are external and mobile data storage devices that use flash memory to store data. USBs use USB plugs to interact with another device, and use NAND flash memory to either collect or distribute memory with the other device. USBs are often used to back up data, install or boot operating systems, carry applications, store firmware updates, provide version control or for promotional and marketing purposes. This report excludes flash memory cards, internal storage devices, floppy disks, optical storage devices and external hard drives.
