Fast data acquisition: Each detection unit of a linear array detector can simultaneously measure the intensity of X-rays, thus possessing the ability to quickly obtain data. This makes linear array detectors suitable for applications that require high frame rate imaging and dynamic observation, such as X-ray photography and tomography. No geometric distortion: The linear array detector adopts a direct imaging method, which means that X-rays are directly detected after passing through the detection unit, without the need for the transmission surface or cathode in traditional transmission type X-ray detectors. This design eliminates the geometric distortion caused by the transmission surface. Wide dynamic range: Linear array detectors have a large dynamic range and can simultaneously measure and record X-ray signals of different intensities. This gives them advantages in high contrast imaging and large-scale radiation measurement.
