The Potentiometer Displacement Sensor is a measuring device that detects the displacement of an object based on the principle of resistance change. It mainly consists of a resistive element, a wiper, and a mechanical transmission structure. The resistive element is typically a resistance wire or a resistive film with specific resistance and length characteristics. When the measured object undergoes displacement, the mechanical transmission structure drives the wiper to slide along the resistive element, altering the resistance value between the wiper and the two ends of the resistive element. According to the linear or specific functional relationship between the change in resistance value and the displacement, the resistance change can be converted into a corresponding electrical signal output, thus achieving precise measurement of the displacement.
