Furthermore, the study looks at the top 10 vendors' market shares in the total IT services market as well as in project-oriented services, managed services, and support services (including IT education and training)."The spin-merger of Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) Enterprise Services and CSC created a new top 5 player in Western Europe with an IT services revenue of $6.2 billion, pushing Deloitte down to 11th position," said Arun Dani, senior research analyst, IDC European Services. "The top 10 IT services vendors that invested strongly in DX capabilities and with a large share of project services performed better than the average in 2017, whereas vendors with high activity in the declining complex IT outsourcing services market continued to perform poorly and see growth offset by declines in outsourcing."
