PTC has worked diligently to weave its recent acquisitions of cloud, IoT platform, data analytics, and augmented reality (AR) into a cohesive vision with its traditional product life-cycle software for customers.The convergence of digital and physical in today's connected products requires transformation across the product and service life cycles. For the product life cycle, this necessitates building agility into how physical products are engineered.Service transformation stands to be one of the greatest opportunities for manufacturers to leverage IoT and drive business results. PTC customers shared how they're using technology to capture the voice of the product, the technician, and the customer, closing the loop from the field back to product design to deliver measurable outcomes.With the combination of IoT platform, PLM, and AR technologies, manufacturers have the opportunity to leverage the vast amount of data generated by connected machines to enable optimized maintenance activities, drive data-based process improvement, and empower workers to an unprecedented degree.The success of digital transformation requires a strong ecosystem of technology partners. PTC showed this by having a strong presence of partners, including Accenture, Amazon, Analog Devices, Dell, Deloitte, GE, Glassbeam, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Kalypso, Kepware, Microsoft, National Instruments, SAP, ServiceMax, and Splunk.
